Theo the Trump Employee episode 26 Directing Your Anger

Theo works in the Trump White House.  He left a lucrative New York City job in order to learn from a man he was beginning to have a lot of respect for.  Sure it was easy to point to the economy doing well but every time Theo thought that the President’s idea was a bad one, it somehow turned out well.  How did he get Mexico to agree to detain illegals waiting for amnesty?  When he first mentioned it, it seemed preposterous.  The trade wars with Europe were so short lived that most people didn’t remember them.  That’s only because Europe caved so quickly and took their tariffs off us.  Like most jobs, however, it wasn’t as fun as he thought it would be.  Theo had thick skin but when you work for someone that 90% of the citizens of the surrounding area (DC) hate with a burning passion, you are constantly under attack.  Of course, this just makes you dig in deeper and excuse the president’s aggressive tone and quirks that drive liberals crazy and may bother some conservatives if the left hadn’t revealed their vitriol and desire to eliminate conservatives.  This was battlefield morality and when you’re on a battlefield, the personal quirks and tone of those on your side are overlooked.  You can judge him after we eliminate the real threat; the left.  Theo’s idea of fighting the good fight was to go to bars to debate with the patrons.  As previously stated, 90% of DC was left of center, which means that any given bar probably had 90% of people that thought differently than Theo; perfect breeding place for a debate.

On this particular occasion, Theo was meeting up with a friend of his and his new girlfriend.  His friend’s name was Ryan.  Ryan was 6’2” with massive arms, sleeve tattoos and buzz cut.  Ryan was in the gym at least once a day and you could tell by looking at him.  This is in contrast to Theo who was 6’0” with a big gut and bald head.  Theo hadn’t been to a gym since 2012 and had no desire to go to one either.  He and Ryan couldn’t have been bigger opposites.  This was the first time Theo was meeting Ryan’s girlfriend, Tiffany.  Tiffany was 5’6” with tanned skin, long wavy black hair and brown eyes.  Her body resembled an hourglass and she was well endowed in the right places.  Theo greeted them and they sat down at a table to get a drink.  Although most people hate being a third wheel, Theo never really felt like one.  He engaged them in conversation and most of the couples he knew didn’t spend an exorbitant amount of time with public displays of affection.  This made it much harder to feel like a third wheel.  As was often the case with Theo, the conversation turned toward politics.  Ryan frowned at this as he and Tiffany were both Democrats but he knew Theo couldn’t help himself.  Ryan asked half jokingly, “Have you ever agreed with anything a Democrat said?”

“Yes, several times.  I actually have a shirt of a quote from Democrat president Harry Truman ‘I never give them hell, I give them the truth and they think it’s hell.’”

                “Any more recent?”

“Yes, Rahm Emanuel just issued a warning to the Democrats that Medicare for all including illegals is an untenable position.  He says that it is not necessary to win the nomination and it will hinder them for the general election.  I agree with that.”

Tiffany inquired, “Who is Rahm Emanuel?”

“He was Obama’s chief of staff”

“Oh, alright but I don’t know why he would say that.  Pretty much all the candidates are saying that.”

“Which is why he said that.  So they would stop saying that.”

“But why?  Healthcare is a right.”

“No, it is not.  Whenever people claim things are rights, it’s because they want other people to pay for them.  We can’t afford Medicare for All.  Our taxes would increase by at least 33%.  Not just the rich, everybody.  By the way, have you ever agreed with a Republican?”

“Everyone needs healthcare and yea probably but I can’t think of any off hand.”

“Healthcare is a scarce resource.  There’s only two ways to distribute a scarce resource.  Either you price it or you ration it.”

“No, if you get hurt, you just go to the emergency room.”

“In America yes, and then you normally wait for hours. Have you ever been hurt in another country?”

“Well, my parents are from Honduras.  You don’t want to get sick there.”

“Right, I travel a lot.  My family is Greek so I would go every summer.  One time, I got really sick in Greece but refused to go to the doctor.  The way it works is you have to wait, on average, six months to see a specialist in single-pay healthcare places like Scandinavia and England.  5% of doctors know people that have died on waiting lists to see them.  This has happened every time they’ve tried it because when there’s no price stopping you from going, everyone goes for the smallest of problems.”

“Nobody likes going to the hospital”

“Well, that’s false.  My former roommate was a paramedic for the fire department.  People always asked for rides to the hospital randomly.  When I feinted on the subway, on the way to the hospital, a guy knocked on the door and asked to go to the hospital.  They have to take them but it was ridiculous to me.  If healthcare were free, a lot more people would do that.  Why treat your own small cut, when you can get a professional to do it?”

                “Something needs to be done”

“I disagree.  As Emanuel said, he rode his bike around Lake Michigan and nobody was rushing to him that they wanted to get rid of their healthcare.”

“I hear people complain about it all the time.”

“Then why don’t they drop it?  President Trump got rid of the individual mandate so they can now”

                “Well, what if something happens?”

“Exactly, with insurance, if something happens, you can see a doctor pretty much whenever you want.  If it were free, you couldn’t do that.  Imagine if something happened, and you couldn’t see a doctor for six months.  Better yet, what if your insurance provider told you that if you need a doctor, you have to wait six months?”

“What’s the point of having insurance if you can’t see a doctor when you’re sick or need one?”

“You’re making my point.  You’d drop the insurance company for another one.”

                “Yes, I would”

“Under Medicare for All, you couldn’t drop them.  You’d be forced to keep them.  That is also why the government doesn’t care to provide a quality product because they know you have to use them.”

“Well, we always say that America is the greatest country, maybe we can do it better.”

                “It’s actually harder here.”

                “Why do you say that?”

“In other countries, all they know is waiting on wait lists for doctors for months.  Here, we know what it’s like to see a doctor whenever we want.  We know we had it better.  I mean, there’s a reason why Canadians leave their free healthcare to pay for ours.”

Ryan chimed in, “Europe doesn’t switch because people go with the devil they know.”

“Exactly, America’s devil they know is insurance.  Once they find out they’re getting something worse, they’re really going to be pissed.”

Tiffany had been drinking rum and cokes all night.  She had only had two and was halfway done with that when the waitress came over.  She placed a rum and coke in front of her with a smile.  Tiffany looked up and declared, “I didn’t order this.”

“I know, a nice gentleman bought it for you.”

Tiffany turned to Ryan and asked, “Did you buy me this?”

The veins in Ryan’s neck protruded forth and he merely shook his head.  Tiffany looked quizzically at Theo and his eyes widened and sat back.  He stated, “Wasn’t me.”

When the waitress came over, Tiffany flagged her down and said, “Who bought this?”

She pointed to the other end of the bar and seemed confused, “There was a guy in a blue hat.  He bought it for you.  I forgot, he also said that he’s sorry you didn’t like the flowers.”

Ryan got up and charged the waitress barking, “What was his name?”

The waitress put her hands up as her entire body tensed.  She screamed, “I don’t know, I don’t know.”

Ryan snapped, “What did he look like?”

The waitress cowered as tears started coming down her face.  The bouncers in the bar were making their way over to them.  Tiffany put her head down looking despondent.  Theo, seeing that things were escalating, got up and stood in front of Ryan and shoved him hard.  Ryan barely budged as he was much bigger than Theo.  Theo locked arms with him and scolded, “What the fuck are you doing?  Look at her baby Huey, you’re scaring the shit out of her.”

Ryan pushed Theo back but then backed away.  Theo could see that he was calming.  He made a motion toward the waitress and Theo put his hand out and told him to sit down.  Ryan did so.  Theo sympathetically said to the waitress, “I apologize for my friend.  He forgets how intimidating he looks.  He’s really harmless.”

The waitress was breathing heavily as she was slowly calmed down as well.  By the time the bouncers got to them, the waitress was waving him off.  The bouncer went over to Ryan to talk with him very forcefully.  Theo knew that there was background to what happened.  He calmly expressed to the waitress, “Look, last week someone sent roses to her office” pointing at Tiffany “usually that’s a nice thing but the note was very menacing.  We don’t know who sent it and it kind of creeped her out.  She threw the flowers away since she didn’t know who it came from.  The scary part was, when she went to her car, the flowers she had tossed in a dumpster was spread out on the front seat of her car.”

The waitress had a horrified look on her face.  She exclaimed, “Oh my God!”

“That is why anything you can tell us about this guy would be helpful.  Did he use a credit card?  What did he look like?”

“He paid in cash.  I couldn’t really tell because he had his hat on.”

“Did he seem older or younger?”

I’d say late 20s but like I said, I didn’t get a very good look.  There are a lot of people.  I don’t really pay attention.”

“Alright, thank you.  I’ll let you get back to work.  Don’t worry about my friend; he just feels helpless that he can’t help his girlfriend since we don’t know who it is.”

                “No, I understand.”

The bouncer came over and asked the waitress, “You’re the one that he assaulted.  It’s up to you if he stays.”

The waitress shook her head, “It was just a misunderstanding.  He got up and I got scared.  I overreacted.  He’s fine.”

The bouncer turned toward Ryan and pointed at him, “I’m going to be watching you.  If you do anything that looks even remotely suspicious, you’re gone!”

                Ryan nodded, “Understood sir.”

There was a lot of tension in the air when the three of them sat down.  Ryan was seething and Tiffany was crying.  Theo decided to continue with the previous topic; politics.  He said as nonchalantly as possible, “Well, did you hear how Google is trying to meddle in elections?”

Tiffany was still reeling from the experience.  She shyly responded, “What do you mean?”

“Well, in 2018, they changed the logo to ‘Go Vote.’ According to studies, more Democrats use Google than Republicans.   The Go vote campaign led to 800,000 more votes.  That could easily skew in election in 2020.  Google is already on record for suppressing conservatives on YouTube.  They’re going all out against Trump now.”

“Everyone uses Google.  If more Democrats use it than Republicans then that means there’s more Democrats in America than Republicans or Democrats seek out more truth than Republicans.”

“You think everything on the internet is true?”

                “Well, no but…”

“That’s why Republicans spend more time reading.  They know the internet is filled with shitty information.  Anyone can make a website and say anything.  It’s hard to filter the BS out.”

“That is the name of the game.”

Ryan slammed his fist on the table, “Damnit! Are we really going to just ignore what just happened?”

Tiffany took a sip of her drink and cowered.  Theo glared at Ryan and then frowned.  He knew what was coming next.  The bouncer came up and commanded, “You got to leave.  You can either do it quietly or I can throw your ass out.  You choose.”

Ryan got up and walked out with him.  Tiffany got up and walked out with them while Theo stayed behind and closed the tab leaving the waitress a big tip.  When Theo got outside, Tiffany and Ryan were having a heated discussion.  Theo approached them and Ryan articulated, “Look, I don’t want to ruin your night.  Just go back inside if you want to.”

“Look, I need a drink.  I’m sorry, but I’m just afraid of what you’re going to do.”

                “I know, I overreacted.”

“I’m the one going through this.  I need you to support me.  It’s not supporting me to go off and attack waitresses”

                “I didn’t touch her.”

“I’ve never seen you that angry.  What would happen if I got you that angry?”

“Just like with her, I wouldn’t hurt you.”

“Well, that waitress didn’t know that.”

                “I know, I backed off”

“After Theo got between you and her.  She was crying and you just kept screaming at her.”

“I was worried for you.  I wanted to find out who’s terrorizing you.”

                “By interrogating an innocent woman?”

“I don’t know what you want me to say.”

“Me neither.  Just go home.  I’m going to go back into the bar.  Your friend Theo will be with me so I won’t be alone.”

Ryan knew Theo would never try to hit on his girl but he still didn’t like it.  Given the circumstances, though, he didn’t think he had a choice.  He nodded and walked off.  Theo and Tiffany went back in the bar.  They sat down and Tiffany was hovering over her drink still looking distressed.  She took a long sip.  Theo was uncomfortable and knew he was about to overstep but he had trouble keeping his opinions to himself.  He pronounced, “You know, Ryan would never hit a woman.”

                “Yea, I know”

                “No you don’t”

Tiffany glared at him, “Yes I do”

“He was trying to protect you.  He did it in the wrong manner but it came from a good place.”

                “It doesn’t matter.”

“Actually it does. Even in law, intent matters.”

“I don’t expect you to understand”

                “Why’s that?”

                “You’re a Trump supporter”

“I am, but how is that relevant?” he asked with incredulity in his voice

“There’s a correlation between Trump rallies and hate crimes.  It’s just facts.  I’m not saying you’re one of them but facts are facts.  You’re okay with violence, which makes sense because Trump supporters are violent”

Theo laughed, “Yea, ANTIFA is such a peaceful group of people.  Oh wait, they attack people every chance they get.  Besides, did you ever look at that study?”

“What do you mean?  I saw it on the news”

“Yea, but you didn’t read the actual study did you?”

                “No”

“See, that’s the difference between Democrats and Republicans.  Democrats just take things as true that they see on TV, Republicans read the background.”

“Well, why don’t I do what more Democrats do than Republicans and Google it?”

                “Alright, find the actual study.”

It took a while but Tiffany found the study.  She started reading it and blurted out, “This is pretty boring.”

Theo grinned, “Look at the two groups they compared.”

“Counties where Trump rallies were held vs. other counties that never had a Trump rally.”

“You don’t see a problem with that?”

                “No”

“Rallies are usually held in counties that have a larger population.  The counties that don’t are smaller population.  So, if there’s a county with three millions people and one with 20,000 people, are you that surprised that there would be more incidents of crime in the county with three million people?”

                “Well, yea obviously”

“Yet, you didn’t realize this when you looked at the study.”

“Well, I got a lot of things on my mind.”

Theo held out his hand to see the phone.  He also took out his phone.  He found out the population of the two counties being compared.  He divided the number of hate incidents with the population to control for the difference.  The difference was such an inconsequential fraction, it was basically zero. “

“Alright, you made your point” Tiffany conceded

“Oh, I’m just getting warmed up.  Besides the fact that numbers mean nothing when they’re not compared to something else, since Trump became president, 1,000 more organizations that track hate crimes have opened to profit off of false accusations like yours and the fake news.  If each organization found one example, then the number of hate crimes increases by 1,000 and the mainstream media would report on that as if they made a point.  Of course, they didn’t.  Just more people looking.”

“I just feel like you’re oversimplifying it.  I mean, the study can’t be that irresponsible or else people wouldn’t have reported on it.”

“Well, let’s use your precious Google to see where Hillary rallies were.  Then find out the hate incidents and compare them to the same counties that they compared Trump to.”

Tiffany shrugged her shoulders in agreement.  They both researched it and compared data points.  When all the numbers were in, it turned out that the counties with Hillary rallies had a higher increase in hate incidents than Trump rallies.  Tiffany opined, “Well, that doesn’t mean Hillary supporters are more hateful than Trump supporters.  You even said yourself it was a stupid way to test it.”

“Yes I did, and I still say that.  I’m not sure why you’re getting so defensive.  Is it because you got proven wrong?  You’re the one that changes your opinion of the study because you don’t like the results.  When the results were against what I wanted, I attacked the study.  Now that the results help my theory, I still attack the study.  I’m the one that’s consistent, not you.”

                “I can change my mind.”

“Of course you can if you’re convinced you’re wrong.  The problem is when I pointed the fallacy of the study; you didn’t change your mind.  You only changed it when it made your precious Hillary look badly.”

“Whatever, the point is, Ryan overreacted.  I mean, I knew he had a violent past but I’ve never seen it in action.”

“You still haven’t.  Though, if we find out the guy who’s stalking you, you might.  I would argue that it would be justified violence.”

“I hope it doesn’t come to that”

“How else could it end?  You haven’t gone to the cops.  He’s clearly not scared that you have a large boyfriend since he pulled that stunt with him here.  So, how else can you get him to stop if not physically threatening him?”

                Violence is never the answer.”

“False, violence solved Nazism, slavery and genocide; among others.”

“What do you want me to say?  I’m glad that he assaulted a waitress?”

“No, I don’t want you to say that.  I was against that too.  It was a misdirect of his anger.  That’s why I got involved.  My problem is that you didn’t”

“What is that supposed to mean?”

“There’s nothing more disarming to a man than a woman.”

                “I’m not following.”

“I stepped in front of Ryan but Ryan could kick my ass.  I just would rather have him misdirect his anger at me than the waitress.  I knew he wasn’t going to hit her but she was really scared so I had to get involved.  The thing is, Ryan might hit me.  He definitely wouldn’t hit you.  If you got in front of him and wrapped your arms around him, he would have been defenseless.”

“He’s like four times my size”

“I know, but he would never hurt you so his size is irrelevant.  The problem is you didn’t know that.  You were scared of him too. That just shows you don’t really know him.”

Tiffany’s jaw dropped.  Her tanned face got lighter as she was shocked at what Theo just said.  Finally, she shook her head and blurted out, “I don’t have to listen to this.” As she walked out.

For the second time, Theo closed his tab and left the bar.  As he was heading toward the subway, a man ran at to him shouting, “Hey wait up”

Theo didn’t think he was talking to him so he kept walking.  When the man put his hand on Theo’s shoulder, he figured out that it was him he was talking to.  He turned around confused and posed, “Can I help you?”

“Hi, my name is Rey” extending his hand

Theo shook it and responded, “Theo”

“I own the bar you just left.”

                “Okay, sorry about the misunderstanding.”

“Don’t mention it.  That’s actually why I wanted to talk to you.  I spoke with the waitress and she told me the back story.”

                “Alright”

“I have security footage.  We can see if we have the guy on tape and then bring it to the authorities to see if they can identify him.”

“Yea, that would be great.  If possible, can I get a copy?  I work for the White House.  Their security is second to none, I’m sure they could figure it out.”

                “Yea, that’s not a problem”

                “Thank you”

“Come with me, have a drink on me and we’ll review the footage.  Who knows?  Maybe we won’t need to cops and you’ll recognize him.”

“Doubtful, I’m guessing it’s someone from Tiffany’s past and I just met her today.  I’m friends with the guy.”

“Well then, we’ll just watch the footage and have a drink”

Theo smiled, “That, I can always go for.”

Back at Rey’s office, they reviewed the footage around the time the man bought the drink.  He kept his head down but they kept running through the before and after to see if he ever looked up.  While they were playing through it, Rey commented, “Trump huh?”

                “Yup”

“Yea, that’s not a very popular opinion around here.”

“I know, but I think it’s completely illogical.  Most of the things people dislike about the President are made up or inconsequential.”

                “Like what?”

“Russian collusion is a complete lie and him saying more people came to his inauguration than any other inauguration is a falsity that I don’t think has much impact in the grand scheme of things.”

“Well, I was a Trump supporter but I’m moving away.”

Intrigued Theo tiled his head and rejoined, “Why?”

“I like guns.  If he approves any gun control measure of any kind, I’m going to turn against him.”

“I actually agree that will hurt his base.”

                “It may lose him 2020”

“Well, look at your alternative.  They definitely want to take your guns.”

“I’m sick of this take the moderate because you’re scared of the far left guy. Trump was supposed to be different.  He was supposed to be the actual conservative we were waiting for.”

“The data does back you up.  The two biggest single-vote issues are abortion and guns”

                “Not LGBT issues?”

“Not according to the data but from the people I talk to….Yea, that’s number one.”

“But, consider the city you live in.”

“Yea, I’ve considered that but I feel like gays vote together.  Then again, there is the log cabin Republicans.  It’s common enough for there to be a name for the group.  Maybe the data is right but I’m skeptical.”

“Trump talks about Red Flag laws making sense and that he’s contemplating it.”

“Yea, well the best argument for that is San Francisco”

                “How’s that?”

“They named the NRA as a domestic terrorist organization.  Just think how ridiculous that is.  Then think that these people might say, ‘if you’re a part of an organization that is deemed a domestic terrorist group, you can’t own a gun.’”

“That is scary.  That’s my point though, the opportunity for abuse is too strong and too tempting.”

                “Yea, I agree.”

“Well, you work in the White House. Are there people in the White House that are advising the president that it’s a bad idea and he should veto it?”

“Yes there are but that doesn’t mean I can guarantee he’ll listen.  We just advise, he ultimately decides what he will do.”

“Well, I guess that’s better than nothing.  At least I know that people who have his ear are advising against it.”

“That you can definitely rest assured.”

Rey printed some screen shots of the guy in the blue hat.  Theo planned on bringing it to work tomorrow but he also sent them to Ryan so he could go to the authorities if he wanted.  Theo got on the train and headed for home.  On the train, he saw some young girls praising AOC.  They were talking about how scared they were about climate change.  Theo scoffed and uttered, “Just so you know, it’s a complete hoax.  Don’t tell me the science is settled.  Science, by definition, is never settled.”

“Clean air and clean water is something that everyone can agree with so it doesn’t matter if the science isn’t unanimous”

“When you use clean air and clean water as a Trojan horse in order to control people and infringe on their liberty and tell them what to do, then it becomes a problem.”

“The government needs to stop these corporations from having no concern for the environment.  It’s not people; it’s the corporations we’re trying to control.”

“Do you understand how dumb that sounds?  Corporations are made up of people.  Businesses don’t pollute; people who run them pollute.  To bring it further, people want things that corporation provides and produces.  In order to produce them, however, they have to emit greenhouse gases.  So, they only emit CO2 because people want products that require CO2 to be emitted to produce. “

“That’s why we need government to regulate them”

“Did you look at the list that AOC came up with?”

“No, but I can pull it up now.”

                “Look at the top five”

“I’m looking.  You have China and Saudi Arabia as the top two.  What’s your point?  It’s not an American problem, it’s an Asian problem?”

“Well, there is truth to that but no that’s not where I was going.”

“Then where were you going if it wasn’t the racist aspect?”

Undeterred Theo answered, “Four of the top five are government organizations”

The girls looked at the list a little closer.  Theo added, “In fact, 26 of the top 50 are government owned.”

“71% of carbon emissions come from these companies.”

“I know, I saw the Carbon disclosure product information.  My point is that over half of the companies on that list are government owned.  It seems to prove that government corporations contribute more to global warming than private organizations.  Given this, I wonder why you think government should be the solution.  It seems to me they are the problem”

“Umm, it’s climate change.  Not global warming”

“No, just because people rebranded it to try to make it seem like a new issue doesn’t mean I have to comply.  Climate Change and Global Warming are equally retarded.  I don’t let you liberals control the language.  That was the first thing that the Politburo did in 1984, hell even in Harry Potter, they controlled the language by not being able to say ‘Voldemort.’  That’s how they tracked Harry, Hermione and Ron….they were the only ones who used that word.  You do the same thing.  You label people as enemies for using terms that you arbitrarily deemed wrong to say.  Just like Harry, Hermione and Ron, the non-word police is the good side.”

                “Whatever”

Theo made it home and went to sleep.  The next day, he took the photos to the White House security and asked for a favor to find out who it was.  They did so pretty quickly using street cameras outside the bar.  Theo called Ryan and told him what he found out.  Ryan hadn’t gone to the authorities because he wanted to take care of it himself.  Tiffany was still not talking to him.  He tried calling but she never answered or returned his calls.  He used social media to try to track the guy down.   While this was going on, Tiffany called Ryan a week after the incident.  They met for dinner where Tiffany broke up with him.  She cited that her life was too crazy right now and she couldn’t handle someone that could get that angry.  Apparently, Theo’s speech did nothing for her.  Ryan understood but was distraught.  All he could really think was now Tiffany would be alone, which made her more of a target for this asshole.  He knew he had to take care of it.  All Tiffany did was remove any repercussions for his actions.  It’s not like he might lose Tiffany because he already lost her.  Now, he just needed to make sure she was safe.

The stalker made a mistake; he posted where he was going to be.  Ryan went to the location and found the man relatively quickly.  He walked over to him and put his hand on his shoulder.  The stalker was smaller than Ryan.  When he turned around to look at him, there was a look of recognition on his face.  Ryan realized the stalker knew who he was.  Ryan sternly voiced, “You need to stay away from Tiffany”

The stalker stuttered, “I…don’t….know what you’re talking about.”

“Yes you do.  I went to the cops.  The street cameras picked you up despite your little blue hat.  Just cut it out or you and I are going to have a problem.  I can tell you know who I am but now you know that I know who you are.”

With that, Ryan walked away.  The stalker yelled out, “Don’t blame me that she dumped your ass.”

Ryan knew that this was just to save face.  He could tell his words affected the stalker and scared him.  Even though he knew this, he decided he was going to give this stalker any silver lining including the last word or anything to save face.  He turned around with a smile and saw the smirk from the stalker turn to horror.  Ryan walked up to him and declared, “Well, you tried to save face.  Let me tell you what I think about your face” as Ryan punched the stalker across the face.

The stalker collapsed to the ground dazed and barely conscious.  Ryan walked away not caring about the ramifications.  It had the desired effect.  The stalker stopped stalking Tiffany but Tiffany never took Ryan back.

Ryan called Theo shortly after the confrontation.  After hearing it, Theo said, “Good job, you did the right thing.”

“Yea, I didn’t have to hit him though.  I think I scared him straight.”

“He tormented your girlfriend and that led to your break up.  Yea, strongly worded confrontation wasn’t enough.”

                “I guess you’re right.”

                “I am”

                “Thanks.”

“For the record, if a girl dumps you for protecting her and worrying about her then she’s not worth it.”

                “I love her man.”

“I know, but love is irrational.  What I just said is.  You’ll find another girl.  Most people love more than one person in their life.”

                “People do re-marry”

“They also claim they love pretty much everyone they date.”

                “And even some they don’t”

                “Exactly”

                “Thanks man”

                “No problem”

Ryan did move on and Theo continued working for President Trump hoping that his employment would last five more years instead of one.
