Larry the Billionaire Episode 7 No Collusion No Obstruction

                Janilsa and Larry had been close friends since college.  Now that they are in the mid-30’s, it’s safe to say they’ve been friends for a while.  Janilsa was of Dominican descent but the stereotype would mislead you as she was a Republican.  Larry was a far-right conservative, which often made first impressions go awry living in New York City like he did.  He didn’t mind though as he had a general disgust for people and made a handful of exceptions.  Janilsa was extremely high on his list of favorite people and he was a guest in her home many times.  Unlike the current climate, Janilsa and Larry had debates but it never got personal or affected their friendship.   Janilsa and Larry were both members of the College Republican club and would attend meetings frequently.  Larry recalls one time when a member of the Log Cabin Republicans gave a speech to the club and Janilsa was intensely interested.  This isn’t the first time that Larry had a suspicion about Janilsa but never asked her upfront even though he was a blunt person. 

                A few years after college, Janilsa got married to a Guyanese woman named Varuna.  Varuna was a lawyer and enjoyed arguing.  Larry liked her almost immediately but as he hung out with her more and more it only intensified.  He was honored to be a part of their wedding and was glad that he got along with Varuna.  To Larry, friends’ significant others went the same way with guys and girls, try to befriend the significant other because if you can’t then you probably won’t see your friend anymore.  Luckily, Varuna and Larry were more similar than either of them would lead on.  They were both Ayn Ran Objectivists but Varuna interpreted Rand’s work much differently than Larry.  Larry couldn’t understand how a Rand objectivist could be a liberal.  Varuna’s response to this was, “Rand’s world is impossible to exist, so there’s no point to ever try to make a world like that.”

                Larry was Greek by descent and was very in tuned with the Greek philosophers.  Plato, like Varuna, would tell you that the forms can’t exist.  He, however also said that you should still strive for them because striving for them and falling short is better than ignoring them altogether. 

                Like most people in America, the Trump presidency had changed everything.  Janisla was pushed to the left and Larry, though suspicious of Trump in the beginning, became an active supporter after seeing the results and how much the media tried to cover up said results.  Since he looked to alternative sources than mainstream media like the Washington Examiner, The Hill, Real Clear Investigators and the Dan Bongino show, he wasn’t surprised at all when Bill Barr was appointed Attorney General and Mueller concluded that there was no collusion and no obstruction by the Trump campaign.  Predictably, the media ran their cover up of the lies they’ve been perpetuating for two years. 

                One trait that Janilsa liked about Larry is that he was spontaneous and didn’t need much notice to do something.  That is why at 3:30 on a Thursday afternoon she texted Larry to meet her, Varuna and Varuna’s future sister-in-law whom Larry had not met named Ada for dinner at 6:00PM.  Larry quickly agreed.  These invitations weren’t out of the ordinary so Larry thought nothing of it but really he was being lured into a debate with Varuna about the Mueller Report that was going to be released with redactions that day.  Larry already knew what the media would do.  Exploit vague wording in Mueller’s report intentionally put there to seem damaging to Trump but really not saying anything at all.  Then, when the report comes up as the no collusion with Russia, no obstruction that it is, claim that the real collusion and obstruction is in the redactions.  This is exactly what they did with the FISA warrants on Carter Page and Larry couldn’t believe people fell for the same gas lighting campaign every time.  Larry was quick to point out that gas lighting was invented by the NAZI’s so often referred to the liberals as NAZI’s primarily because they called every Republican NAZI’s and because when your name is the National SOCIALIZTA Intelligencia (Which is what NAZI stands for), and now liberals claim to be socialist, it’s seems to fit perfectly.  Larry went to dinner and it didn’t take long for Varuna to bring it up, “Did you see the Mueller report?”

                “I saw Bill Barr’s press conference.  The Russians tried to meddle but no American helped them.  The Russians put out disinformation campaign that useful idiots in the media and Democrats gobbled up.  Barr didn’t attack the Democrats and media outrightly but I read between the lines. And GRU tried to hack the DNC but got no help from any Americans.  I’m guessing not from Julian Assange either but that’s a different story.”

                “Yea, it’s amazing how the Trump appointed Barr is covering for the President.”

                “Presidents appoint Attorney Generals so by definition every Attorney General is covering for the president.  Rosenstein also signed off on the no obstruction and he wasn’t appointed by Trump.”

                “You can’t actually believe Barr can you?”

                “Of course I can.  See you’re little ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’ talk doesn’t work on me.  I know how liberals are.  They are con-artists and the first thing about a con artist is to deny deny deny and then you blame the people investigating you of the very crime you committed.  That is what’s happening here; Mueller spent two years and 35 million dollars covering up for President Obama and the DOJ for illegally unmasking Mike Flynn, lying to a FISA court to get a warrant against Carter Page and probably others and then trying to set up the Trump team by having Hillary connected Russians talk to Trump Jr. when nothing came out of it.”

                “You sound like a conspiracy theorists.”

                “Yea, that’s usually what you people say when you have nothing to say.”

                “You people?”

                “Yea, liberals”

                “And what’s ‘Emperor New Clothes’ talk”

                “There’s a children’s story where these people pretend to make an elaborate and beautiful robe for the Emperor but this robe is so special that you can’t see it if you’re stupid or unfit for your office.  So, when the Emperor walks down the street in his ‘new robe’ everyone says how beautiful it is even though he’s walking around in his underwear but nobody wants to admit to being stupid or unfit for office. So, when someone starts things with ‘every knows’ or ‘you can’t believe….’ Or ‘you’re an idiot if you believe…’ I call it Emperor’s New Clothes talk because you have to dissuade the person from attacking it before they hear it.  That means you know that what you’re about to say can’t stand on its own. 

                “Fine, no preface, Trump obstructed justice by firing FBI Director Jim Comey.”

                “Except Andy MeCabe admitted in sworn testimony the firing an investigator isn’t obstruction because the replacement just picks up where they left off.  Comey also never told Trump that he was under investigation so how do you obstruct an investigation that you don’t know is going on.  Also, Trump gave the Mueller probe full access and full cooperation turning over every document they asked, he never invoked executive privilege even though it’s his right to do so and he didn’t deprive Mueller from talking to any witnesses.  In fact, he told Comey something along the lines of if any of his satellite officials were suspicious, then that would be something he would like to know.  So, how do you obstruct an investigation you basically asked to have happen?”

                “Barr said that no American didn’t knowingly help the Russians.  You can collude without knowing.”

                “Ah, this is the unique legal theory Barr talked about with Andy Weissman.  Though the media and Democrats are probably guilty of this unknowing collusion too by printing and running with the disinformation campaign he talked about.”

                “What unique legal theory?”

                “I think he’s talking about Andy Weissman.  He got in trouble in the ENRON case for making up laws and charging people for them only for the judge to throw them out.   By the way, Mueller was head of the FBI during the ENRON case and many of the Democrat lawyers on the counsel were on the ENRON case so they all knew each other.  Like you, Weissman, the lead investigator of the Mueller probe will probably make up a law for collusion or obstruction so that he can try to charge Trump with it.”

                “What false information?”

                “Cohen went to Prague for one.  Svetlana Lokhova is a Russian Asset.  Joseph Mifsud is a Russian asset.  Trump had a back channel to Putin at the Kremlin to build a Trump tower in Moscow.  Paul Manafort gave campaign information to Russians.  Pretty much every single thing ever said that involved the words Trump and Russia.  Every single indictment had nothing to do with Russian collusion.  That doesn’t seem off to you?”

                “Well, I think America should just move on.  Mueller exonerated Trump, the American people can’t deal with more investigations.”

                “That’s real convenient.  It even worked on Republicans in the past that loved taking the high road.  Make all the vitriolic, disgusting, degraded, vicious attacks you can and then when they’re found not guilty have no ramifications.  Well, Trump and Barr are new school, now they’re going to use the Democrat’s tactics on them.  I don’t care what the American people can take.  The mob is stupid.  92% of people benefited from the tax cuts but only 17% realize it.  How fucking retarded do you have to be to not realize your paycheck went up, you got a higher refund or you got a raise?”

                Janilsa said, “Well, if you got a raise, you don’t realize what the taxes would have been if you didn’t get the tax cuts so you don’t realize the deductions were less.  Wages went up so it’s possible that all the people that got raises are part of the percent that don’t realize it.  Since you gave less to the government, a lot of people got less tax returns so they think they got hosed when they really didn’t and most people don’t realize that they only got raises because employers had to pay fewer corporate and personal taxes thus had more money to pay their employees.”

                Larry looked around and said, “That makes sense but it’s a really big number of people that don’t realize it so the media downplaying it has to have played a role.”

                “I’m not saying it didn’t, I’m just giving you other reasons why it might have happened.”

                Varuna jumped in, “Nobody cares about taxes, they’re boring.  Let’s get back to Trump.  So, you think the Trump tower meeting was a set up?”

                “Yes, all the parties met with Glenn Simpson before and after the meeting.  Glenn Simpson owns Fusion GPS that was paid by Hillary Clinton through the lawfirm Perkins Coie to write the now discredited dossier that the FISA’s and the whole collusion hoax was based on”

                “We lawyers call that ‘circumstantial’ evidence’”

                “You lawyers know that cases are built on circumstantial evidence.  The point is if you have a lot of circumstantial evidence, the argument that it’s circumstantial loses its credibility and you get to proof beyond a reasonable doubt because it’s no longer reasonable to think all of it was circumstantial.  But that was just one set up, the entire fucking thing was a set up.”

                “Like what?”

                “Starting back in 2014 with General Flynn with Svetlana Lakova.  Obama’s DOJ called her a Russian asset.  She was invited to a dinner by CIA spy Stefan Halper in Cambridge.  Flynn was also invited.  Halper sat them at the same table and because she was born in Russia, called her a Russian asset even though she had lived in London for like over a decade.  Then they set up my countryman George Papadopoulos, again in London, by having him meet Joseph Mifsud and then pretending Mifsud is a Russian asset even though he’s been photographed with intelligence agents in Italy and Britain.  That’s why the highest ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary committee, Devin Nunes wants to investigate all three instances for entrapment.  Especially since they used a CIA spy, Stefen Halper before July 31, 2016, when Crossfire Hurricane was opened.  As you know counselor, you can’t use confidential informants unless an investigation is open so there must be other investigations we don’t know about.”

                “You really are deeply involved in this conspiracy.”

                “Yup, especially because Nunes says the type of surveillance on Carter Page will shock us and he has uncovered spreadsheets of when the FBI tried to verify the Dossier and found some aspects were false but didn’t reveal that to the FISA court.”

                “Okay so the FBI is corrupt.”

                “No, the question is who pressured the FBI to investigate Trump.  Was it the CIA or the White House?  As you know my lawyer friend, the CIA and White House are not law enforcement. They can’t charge Americans with a crime or open an investigation.  That is what the FBI does.  The FBI is domestic. According to the infamous lead investigator Strzok texts with his mistress FBI lawyer Lisa Page, the White House is behind this and they were meeting with Obama on the way out and their boss MeCabe wanted them all to be on the same page and talk as one before the White House runs the investigation.  Obama has his mitts all over it and I really hope it comes out and he and Hillary get arrested but I have no faith in the Department of Justice anymore even with Horrwitz and Barr.  Hillary Clinton has corrupted it too much that cleaning it up will take more than two years.  But, if Trump gets re-elected, we got four more years to fulfill one of his campaign promises and lock up Hillary Clinton  Obama, MeCabe, Ohr, Comey and all the people involved in the set up, providing false pretenses to spy and cover up  all go down.”

                Ada said, “Can we please talk about something else?!”

                The conversation went to less contentious matters and they returned home amicably after dinner.  Larry was still holding out hope that Democrats would go down in worse ways than Flynn, Papadopoulos, and Manafort did but he was pessimistic it would happen.
